It was a fun weekend in Stockholm. Friday night I went out with a friend, finding out that we ended up in a so-called block party on Götgatan. Nice initiative (heavily sponsored by Grolsch it seemed). Quite a bunch of live bands playing, one of which I was introduced to immediately when I stepped outside the Slussen subway station. The noise coming out of Krönet was quite impressive :-)
We moved on to a pub further on the street and found out that Christian Falk was playing there :-) Nice!
Tonight was midnattloppet, a running competition of one swedish mile (10 km) on the island of Södermalm. Always a big thing (this year 17.000 people registered), and fun to watch! Especially because some runners really dress-up in fun clothes.
All in all a great weekend! Stockholm is buzzing!
