Sweden is not a country that takes the time to switch seasons. I wrote earlier about the Swedish Summer Explosing. Well, moving from Summer to Winter takes also almost a day.

Winter arrived last weekend. One day: relatively warm for Swedish standards (+4/5 degrees), next day: 20 centimeters of snow and -4/-5 (which is still not too cold).  Finally. It took way too long this year for the snow to arrive (okay, we had some in November, but only for a day or 2).

Why is snow nice? Because it lights up the days. Swedish winter days are short, very short, to almost non existing (all the way up North). When there is a good layer of snow it lights up the day, making it a bit longer. I love it (probably also because I don’t drive a car over here ;-) ).
