As said in a previous post, I recently acquired a Sony Ericsson K800i. One thing I really missed though was my favorite past time for on the subway: solitaire. On Windows Mobile devices you get it out of the box. I searched the web a bit and found a few solitaire games for java phones, but none of them gave me the experience I was used to from the Windows Mobile devices. So I decided: let’s write it myself. I did it, and it behaves (and looks :-) ) 100% similar like the one on the Windows Mobile devices. With one exception. On the Windows Mobile version when you want to put an ace or other card on one of the ‘ace stacks’ in the upper right corner of the play area you can press the joystick up. On my version you just ‘double’ click on the corresponding number. So if the free card in row 2 is an ace and you want to move it up, just press 2 twice and it moves to an available free spot.

A screenshot. Notice that this is not a screenshot from the Windows Mobile but from the java version. A download link can be found below. It has been tested on a Sony Ericsson K800i and a Sony Ericsson K750. Other java phones might work. Please make sure the resolution of the phone is at least 176 x 220 or higher.
