I just installed Windows Live Writer. At first glance : NICE!
It’s smart: after installation it asked me for the url to my weblog. I entered it and it started analyzing my weblog. The result: it automatically configured itself to allow to post to my weblog.
It even downloaded the style sheet from my weblog, allowing me to write posts in a familiar look and feel. Smooth.
Build in preview also is a nice feature, something I got used to from the online wordpress experience. I’m going to use this tool for the coming time and will see what it does. Some nice added feature the fact that I can a Windows Live Map to my post. Not that I will use a lot, but still. Nice.
Overall first impression (after 5 minutes, I admit): GOOD JOB!
